A Message From Revd David Hardman

Circuit on-line services

We are now using Zoom for our Sunday Morning Service. This benefits our worship in several ways; the music comes across far better, we are able to share images and words on the screen and it allows for more than one person to taking part in the services. Another difference is that we can see each other!

To enable this to happen our services are now at 11:30am. We are sharing our Zoom account with the Glossop and Ashton-under-lyne Circuits and as you can imagine Sunday is busy with worship across the three circuits!

To join, please e-mail Karen for joining instructions before Sunday.

Bible Study

Cold Case Christianity

Denton Methodist Church are starting their next 8 week bible study on Wednesday 24th June at 7:30pm.

Anyone joining the bible study will learn how to employ ten important detective skills as they watch Detective Wallace test the accuracy and reliability of the New Testament Gospel accounts. They'll follow along as he investigates the historical evidence and “questions” the witnesses.

If you would like to join the bible study, please contact Andrew Mason no later than Sunday 21st June so that he can order the correct number of books and get them out to you before the start of the series. Andrew can be contacted at andrew.d.mason@outlook.com.

Love yourself, love your neighbourThe Connexional Evangelism and Growth team is really excited about the launch of a new social media campaign: #loveyourself #loveyourneighbour.  It will engage with the many wellbeing conversations that have recently sprung up.

At its centre will be a gentle rhythm of daily contemplation and action for those of faith, those searching, and those who do not know what they believe.
